Bida Nai - Phi Phi

Bida Nai has an amazing topopgraphy of underwater crevices, huge boulders and fields of staghorn coral reef. Strectched across the south and west coats of the island is a gradual slope that starts at a depth of 5 - 10m and is made up of hard corals such a pore coral, table coral and staghorn coral. There are also some big boulders and a swim through on the southern side.


The eastern side of the island is a large sand slope with fields of staghorn coral. Divers can find leopard sharks sleeping on the sand, or swim out to the large pinnacle beyond the reef for the big scholls of trevally, barracude and other fish. The tip of the pinnacle starts at a depth of 14 - 18m and goes to a depth of over 30m.


The North side of the island consists mainly of stunning crags and cliffs, with walls dropping vertically to depths of 20 - 25m before hitting a sandy bottom. This area consists of many soft corals, sea fans and huge barrel sponges.
