COURSE PRE-REQUISITES
Participants must hold a minimum diver certification of PADI Open Water Diver, or an equivalent rating.
Minimum age is 12 years*.
This course applies Recreational Dive Planner and RDP Wheel theory and practice, plus the use of a Dive Computers in recreational diving, students should be familiar with the RDP table and be prepared to purchase their own RDP Wheel.

PRICE INCLUDES
Course manual/workbook. (The video is available at additional cost).
Hire of personal standard diving equipment, such as Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Exposure Suit, BCD, Weights, Regulators and Instrument console, Cylinder and Enriched Air Fills, for the duration of the course.
Dive site entrance fees, and PADI Certification fees.
PRICE EXCLUDES
The RDP Wheel or Dive Computer.
COURSE OUTLINE
The course consists of academic study, consisting of video presentation and academic discussion, practical application session plus two open water training dives. The course normally runs over one or two days, dependant upon dive site location and logistics.
During the academic and presentation sections of the course topics covered will include -
The Wheel: its use and calibration.
Decompression theory
Repetitive diving theory
Dive computer overview
Multilevel diving theory
Repetitive Diving
Ascent procedures
Decompression diving
Choosing and Using Dive computers
Decompression sickness
Multilevel dive equipment
Multilevel dive planning.
The academic session is followed by two Open Water Dives for which students will be required to demonstrate practical application of all aspects of the knowledge and skills covered in the Theory part of the course, plus demonstrate correct diving protocols and skills commensurate with holding an Multilevel diver certification.
COURSE TIMETABLE
When you sign up for the course and pay your deposit you will be issued with your course manual, which you use in your independent learning prior to day 1 at Simply Scuba. You should have read the manual and completed all quizzes and knowledge reviews contained within the manual before the first formal training session at the dive centre.
Day 1 - Upon arrival you will receive a safety briefing and orientation to the dive centre. This will be followed by an introduction to the course and an overview of what to expect and whats expected of you. This will be followed by a video presentation and a >review of the manual and its knowledge reviews. This is followed by a discussion covering the key points of diving using the RDP Wheel and the checks and responsibilities involved in its use.
There then follows two Open water dives, students prepare for the days diving before travel to the designated dive site for two open water dives. Upon successful completion of these dives its back to the Dive Centre for de-kitting, dive review and final certification application and course administration.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING
2 passport sized photographs.
Your log book and proof of your current level of diving certification.
Swim Wear and Towel.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW
*Participants under 16 years must be accompanied on the course by a suitably qualified parent or legal guardian.
Like all training courses where certain levels of performance are required to pass it is important to realize that you must reach the required levels of proficiency for each aspect of the course in order for the instructor to certify you, (just like on a driving test). If you fail to achieve the required standards we will endeavor to give you the opportunity for further training, however this would incur additional cost.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The PADI Multilevel Diver Specialty Course is part of the PADI Diver Continuing Education Program, designed to encourage divers to further their knowledge and skills under the safe supervision of professional instructors. It combines well with other such courses such as the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver Specialty Course.
